First Aid Discussions in Nova Scotia - Employer Input SessionView Event
Date: Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 9:00am - 4:30pm
Next session on October 16, 2019 as part of OEA NS In-House Training Series (Use button to right of page to register)
The need to document, record events, prepare formal written responses to agencies, government and others has never been greater. Documenting events and being able to explain the sequence may be the difference between success or not in disputed matters.
Success is often defined by the quality and completeness of the written message, yet employers struggle with letter writing that would impart the best meaning. Within all areas of employment relationships employers need to implement key documentation, including worker sign-off, in order to have credible and accurate record.
In this full day session participants will review the importance of written documents, documentation in general, and when to use key documents in hiring and throughout the employment relationship. Participants will have many opportunities to be involved in discussion and ask questions. A workshop binder will provide participants with useful resources long after the session.
Price: $299 +HST
Time: 9:00am - 4:30pm
The session will be held at the OEA Office: 36 Brookshire Court, Suite 14, Bedford, Nova Scotia, B4A 4E9
