National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
A day to honour Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never came home, and reflect on the lasting impacts of these institutions on Indigenous families and communities.
For employers, it is also a time to learn, listen, and support reconciliation in meaningful ways.
The Government of Canada has developed a resource to help: Supporting Indigenous Reconciliation in the Workplace.
